Nintendo Gamescom 2018 News Round Up!

Gamescom 2018 is finally here, and Nintendo has already announced what they have to show! As the year moves on, 2018 is looking more exciting for Nintendo especially with these announcements. Here is everything that was announced! (As for the surprise Nindies Presentation, that will be a separate article.)

-Let’s start out with a fresh new trailer! The action packed Daemon X Machina got more gameplay. The title is still slated for release sometime in 2019.

-A new character was announced for Mario Tennis Aces! After the huge success this game has had, it’s no surprise to see this. You may know this character from the Donkey Kong franchise. It’s Diddy Kong! He will be available beginning September 1st.

-InkyPen, a subscription based comic book service, will be launching exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Comics that will be launching on the service include Sonic the Hedgehog and Transformers! It will be launched in November 2018 for $7.99 a month.

-Super Mario Party will have a bundle released which comes with the pink and green Joycons. However, it will be releasing a month later than Super Mario Party on November 23rd.

-Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country will have a new gameplay trailer by the end of this week.

-The Luigi’s Mansion “remake” for Nintendo 3DS will be launching on October 19th.

-A Hat in Time will be launching on Nintendo Switch “soon.”

-Phantasy Star will become part of the SEGA AGES line up sometime next month. Also keep in mind the first SEGA AGES game will be launching this month with Sonic The Hedgehog and a few other titles for $10 and a ton of new exclusive content for each game.

-The Teltale Games’ Walking Dead Season 1 will be launching on Nintendo Switch August 28th, 2018.

-HD remasters of the SEGA Dreamcast games Grandia and Grandia II will be launching on Switch this Winter!

-Saints Row: The Third was announced for release on Nintendo Switch in 2019 with no extra details provided.
