My Top 10 Games Releasing Fall of 2018!

Hey guys Dead X here and fall is just around the corner and with that are a bunch of new games being released. So, I give you 10 Games Releasing this Fall, and I hope you will enjoy it.

10. Mega Man 11 (Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC)

So starting up the list is a sequel to a beloved franchise, Mega Man. I personally am a big Mega Man fan despite me being more familiar with the X series. However, I do love Mega Man 2 and a few other classic series games. Mega Man 11 looks like a good step forward with the visuals now being polyganal, but they are still staying true to Mega Man by keeping the game a 2D side-scroller (otherwise known as 2.5D). Mega Man 11 will be releasing this October 2nd, 2018.

9. Dragon Ball FighterZ (Nintendo Switch)

Next up is a long awaited port coming to Switch, Dragon Ball FighterZ (pronounced fighters with a Z not Fighter Z 😅). I knew this game would eventually arrive on Switch after Bandai Namco asked if the demand was there. It was eventually announced to come along side a beta, which I really enjoyed from last month! I can’t wait to be playing as the Z fighters and the villians in this 3v3 fighting game. There is no date on the Nintendo website at the time of me writing this article but Gamestop has a date of September 28th, 2018.

8. Dark Souls Remastered (Nintendo Switch) and Dark Souls Trilogy (Xbox One, PS4)

Well, it’s finally happening, Dark Souls will be seeing it’s release on the Switch as well as the Remastered Trilogy which will be releasing on all other platforms the same day. So all you Switch owners who only own the Switch at least attempt to buy Dark Souls Remastered, though we all know it will be over shadowed by the trilogy. Darks Souls Remastered and the Dark Souls Trilogy will be releasing October 19th, 2018.

7. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (Xbox One, PS4)

Number 7 is arguably Ubisofts’ biggest franchise, Assassin’s Creed with its newest game to the series Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be taking place in Greece where it will also implement Greek mythology. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be releasing October 5th, 2018.

6. Pokemon Lets GO Pikachu and Pokemon Lets GO Eevee (Nintendo Switch)

Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee hype has died down significantly but I still have plenty of hope. It is a remake/reimagining of Pokemon Yellow while including some elements from the anime like Jessie and James. The game also will be pulling elements from the popular mobile game Pokemon GO with the catching and simplified mechanics. Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s GO Eevee will be releasing November 16, 2018.

5. Fallout 76 (Xbox One, PS4, PC)

Number 5 is Fallout 76, I know some Fallout fans are excited about this take on the franchise and so am I. It seems like a really idea, being an open world online multiplayer game set in the Fallout universe. Also, Todd Howard seems to be trying to make this game a good experience, and nukes are now usable so… fun (there is going to be so much salt). Fallout 76 will be releasing November 14, 2018.

4. Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Xbox One, PS4)

Following the success of the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is a new compilation of great retro games, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. In this trilogy we will be seeing our favorite purple dragon in a remake made from the ground up with very pretty visuals. The game was originally planned to have you download the second and third games of the trilogy, however the game was pushed back to fit all games on one disk due to fan complaints. Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be releasing November 13, 2018

3. Starlink: Battle for Atlas (Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4)

Now here’s a game I am really excited for! Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a game I had off my radar until Ubisofts’ E3 2018 came and now I need this game. I love the idea of space exploration and visiting other planets, which is one of the main themes of the game. Also Fox McCloud is in the game so I am definitely getting this game for Nintendo Switch when it drops. Starlink: Battle for Atlas releases October 16, 2018.

2. Spider-Man (PS4)

A no brainer on this list that everyone is excited to play is Spider-Man on the PlayStation 4. With each passing E3 this game has been shown, it seems to look better and better. Now in 2018 this game will finally be out and playable. This game is shaping up to be the best Spider-Man game we have gotten in years so I can’t wait. Spider-Man PS4 will be releasing September 7, 2018 which is pretty soon. What could be something bigger than Spider-Man?

Honorable Mentions

Some honorable mentions I have are:

Forza Horizons 4 (Xbox One)

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (Xbox One, PS4, PC)

The World Ends With You: Final Remix (Nintendo Switch)

1. Red Dead Redemption 2 (Xbox One, PS4, PC)

I know you guys saw this one coming, Red Dead 2 is the most anticipated game of 2018 besides Smash Ultimate. This game just looks absolutely amazing, the graphics look great and the world looks beautiful and immersive. Have you seen the pre order bonus (it’s awesome)? I like the attention to detail Rockstar has put into this game and I am absolutely certain that all the work they put in this game will pay off. Red Dead Redemption 2 will be releasing October 26, 2018 and I cannot wait as I have it marked on my calendar.

Did you like my list? Let me know if there was a game I missed that you were excited for and keep on gaming. This is Dead X signing off.
